Difficult situations or strong psychological pressure cannot always be dealt with the help of friends and family. These mental conflicts weigh us down and make us ill.
In these situations, it is advisable to seek help.
Hello! I’m Manuela Luise
I offer individuals’ and group’s sessions in Italian, English and Spanish.
My career path began with migration and the study of photography and journalism. Without knowing it, this training would have passed on to me the main elements of my work: openness to what is diversity, an attentive and active listening and observation, professionalism and intuitiveness.
I work both dialogue-based and with creative methods (photographs, collages, drawings and guided imagery ).

I am a non-medical practitioner of psychotherapy according to the Non-medical Practitioners Act (Heilpraktikerin for psychotherapie) I have a master’s degree in Art Therapy and am currently completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
I have been offering art-group sessions in Italian, English and German since 2014, in a variety of settings, with adults and teenagers, sometimes dealing with serious aspects of the psycho-pathological spectrum, while others just aiming at self-awareness and/or change.
We can work together to develop a way that is in tune with you to help you finding a moment of relief.

The benefits of therapy
The concept of mental health/illness that we experience is always connected to a network of interrelationships in which we operate, which influence us and which we influence bilaterally. The dynamics underlying this network are formed in our early relationships, and influence how we experience, shape and experience interpersonal connections in our daily lives.
Counselling and treatment can offer opportunities to develop new relational experiences.
Each symptom, behaviour or feeling, that is experienced as an obstacle, either to personal growth or simply to the enjoyment of everyday life, has either once been a useful way of coping with some challenge, or constitutes part of a condition/disorder, with which one can learn to relate effectively.
Focusing on the here and now
we will explore specific conflicts and inhibitions in your present life by analysing the underlying history based patterns and dynamics, aiming to understand, address, and attempting to change them.
How does it work?
The purpose of the introduction session is to find out if we can work together, to explain the methods, modalities, and prices of the treatment I propose, and to answer any questions you may have.
If you decide to start this journey with me, in the first sessions, I will ask exploratory questions and make a first evaluation.

You will define the content whilst I take care of the process and methods to provide you with a safe-space where you can feel free to open up and express yourself.
I will try to understand your feelings and thoughts as accurately as possible.
To help you connect with the unconscious parts of your conflicts we will work with, amongst other things, photographs, collages, drawings and imagination practice
The client-centred therapy is based on the therapist/heilpraktiker repeatedly summarising the client’s statements in his or her own words. What the therapist/heilpraktikerin does not do in the treatment is give the client advice or instructions.
In other words, I won’t tell you how to behave, but rather help you finding an individual answer within yourself.
